1. Look at the eyes and tail. Mohit clicked these lovely pictures in 2020, the year of Lockdowns. He is a travel buff who runs his own travel tour company out of Delhi. He organises great trips in North India. From Delhi, the best way to reach Corbett is to hire a private taxi.

As per experts best season is November to June. “Jim Corbett National Park is home to a diverse range of landscapes, from hills and riverine belts to marshy depressions and grasslands.”

3. Beating the heat. Looks indicates subtle power. Established in 1936, it was India’s first national park. It is spread over app 1300 sq kms (520 sq kms main area, rest buffer) and is close to Nainital. It has different zones and entry gates.

4. Playing or making love in the grasslands. “Jim Corbett National Park is home to around 110 tree species, 50 mammal species, 580 bird species, and 25 reptile species. The park`s historic rest houses include Garjiya, Sultan, Gairal, Sarpdhuli, Khinanauli, Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, and Dhela.”
